A cooking competition took place at St James' Park on Wednesday 9th March 2005.
ELEVEN colleges competed in ten categories producing different recipes and there was an audience of two hundred people and five judges.
Boldon year 11 pupil, Paul Robertson entered the stir-fry category and, within an extremely short time limit of twenty minutes, a dish to impress the judges was duly made. Paul went home with third place and an impressive glass goblet.
