Here are Boldon Schools Girls Football team in their new kit, sponsored by the Football Foundation.

Boldon School received CHARTER STANDARD status, awarded by the FA in January 2008 after Miss Hickman applied for a bid in Oct 2007.  This enables the school to be entered into tournaments and competitions outside the South Tyneside area with access to greater funding and opportunities in the future.  Next year we are looking forward to entering the ESFA cup for girls- and are ready to bring ‘Girls Football’ back into the community.

The girls have their first tournament wearing this kit on the Thursday 14 Feb 2008. They are training hard and are going to look the part!

Their season starts on the Tuesday 26 February 2008 - so if you see them around wish them GOOD LUCK!
